Editing

I often wonder about the editing process. Sometimes it is like correcting a misguided child. Other times like finding a new friend and learning all about them. Either way it is about love, love of the story, love of the characters and love of whatever the story will become. Not that you can really do much to guide where the story goes. It tells itself. The characters become people. They live and love and they often do stupid or heroic things.

OK, so I have taken another couple of weeks off from editing my 50000 words...ugh. I hate editing, I want to get on with another project already...focus...focus.
